Job Overview:
The Internal Communications Specialist will be a key member of the Communications Team, focused on keeping employees informed about important company news, updates, and initiatives. This role demands strong writing abilities and attention to detail, as the specialist will be responsible for crafting internal emails, writing content for the company Intranet, and developing presentations. The role also involves creating templates for communication and handling occasional administrative tasks. All materials will be intended solely for internal audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support internal communication initiatives within the Communications Team.
- Write clear, engaging content such as internal emails, Intranet articles, employee spotlights, procedural documents, and company updates.
- Design and develop presentations to share organizational news across the company.
- Create and manage templates to ensure consistent internal messaging.
- Work closely with colleagues to gather relevant information and insights for communication.
- Provide administrative assistance as needed to help the team operate efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Writing, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in internal communications, media, or a related field — or current Master’s students with relevant internship experience.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse internal audience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Skilled in creating presentations using tools such as PowerPoint.
- Collaborative and personable, with strong communication skills.
- Proactive, self-driven, and passionate about content development.
- Willingness to take on some administrative responsibilities alongside core communication duties.
