At Norsk Titanium, we are at the forefront of additive manufacturing, and we are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to govern our AS9100-compliant QMS. What you will do:
- Govern the QMS: Manage, maintain, and improve the company's AS9100-compliant Quality Management System to ensure it remains effective and aligned with industry standards.
- Lead Auditing Efforts: Plan and perform internal and supplier audits, identifying nonconformities and validating corrective actions.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause investigations (5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa) and facilitate CAPA to ensure sustainable improvements and increased profitability.
- Control Quality Documentation: Update and manage procedures, work instructions, forms, and records to ensure organizational compliance.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure all quality requirements are understood and met.
Who you are:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
- Certification: Internal Auditor certification to AS9100 or ISO9001 is required (Lead Auditor certification preferred).
- Experience: Proven background in aerospace manufacturing or aviation parts production with experience conducting internal and external audits.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QMS documentation control, process mapping, and risk management tools like FMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, and AS9102.
- Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relay complex technical information across the corporate spectrum.
- Requirements: Must be a U.S. Person under U.S. export control regulations (ITAR).
