Maintenance Technician

?? $18.50–$24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
?? Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (flexible hours available)
We’re seeking a self-motivated, reliable Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities and grounds in top condition. You’ll work independently and as part of a small team maintaining three properties across Sioux Falls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on buildings and equipment
- Mow lawns, remove snow (including operating skid steer and plow truck), and maintain landscaping
- Replace furnace filters and perform basic HVAC upkeep
- Service and repair dock doors, overhead doors, and other building features
- Keep parking lots and outdoor areas clean and safe
- Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in building or property maintenance preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
- Comfortable operating power tools and light equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Must be dependable, organized, and capable of working independently
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable performing physical tasks both indoors and outdoors year-round
