JOB SUMMARY:
The Customer Experience Representative I serves as a key link between customers, sales, engineering, and production to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders for NORD Gear Corporation. This role is responsible for entering and managing customer orders, verifying technical information, and coordinating internally to ensure customers receive the correct products and high-quality service experience.
Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this position supports the full order lifecycle—from initial order entry through confirmation—while collaborating with multiple departments throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to learn technical products while delivering responsive and professional customer support.
This position plays an important role in maintaining the high service standards and reliability that customers expect from NORD, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently so customers receive the right solutions for their applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enter orders into manufacturing system.
• Contact customers for information about purchase orders.
• Work with drafting on order information.
• Electronically file and maintain paperwork associated with each order.
• Assist Customer Experience team by working on quotes from the quotes queue.
• Assist Customer Experience team by taking customer phone calls (in back-up capacity).
• May be assigned order processing duties for Key and Target Accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.
