ICU Registered Nurse
Shift -36 or 48hrs. Nights and every other weekend
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Participate in sterile processing procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including those related to workers' compensation law.
Requirements
- 2 years of Adult ICU experience
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
