Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.
- Administer medications via IV infusion, injections, and other routes while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage complex clinical procedures such as ventilator management, catheterization (urinary and vascular), suturing, tube feeding, and wound care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and medical documentation standards.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for accurate charting, medication administration records (MAR), and documentation of medical records.
- Respond effectively to urgent situations including acute pain management, trauma cases.
- Assist with triage assessments in urgent care or emergency settings to prioritize patient treatment based on acuity levels.
Requirements
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience required
- Active Oregon RN State License
- Current BLS Certification
