In this role, you will utilize your extensive nursing expertise to assess patient needs, administer treatments, and coordinate care plans that promote healing and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to determine individualized care needs.
- Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following strict aseptic techniques and medical protocols.
- Utilize EHR systems to accurately document patient information, medical records, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in hospital, outpatient, long-term care, hospice, or community settings to develop and implement effective care strategies.
- Perform specialized procedures including suturing, catheterization (urinary and vascular), tube feeding management, and ventilator care when necessary.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, discharge planning, and health coaching to promote ongoing wellness.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of direct care / nursing experience.
- Active RN License in the state of PA
- Current BLS Certification
