Leading Westchester hospital seeks a Patient Safety Nurse to plan and implement a safe, effective and evidence-based patient care.Responsibilities: Design, implement and evaluate client care by coordinating, delegating and supervising the care provided by a healthcare team at the clinical level.Serve as the patient safety advocate and clinical role model in their specific specialty.Present patient and staff concerns to appropriate clinical forums.Participate in and contributes to clinical review activities.Assist and support the healthcare team with disclosure when adverse event or untoward outcome occurs and coordinates debriefing sessions.Identify and monitor metrics leading to improving patient care.Perform collaborative reviews of adverse occurrences and near misses. Incorporates such into educational efforts.Maintain a database of records reviewed, issues identified and plans of correction.Assess the documentation of charts reviewed and provide timely feedback to clinicians.Qualifications New York State Licensed Registered Nurse Bachelor's Degree in Nursing A minimum of 1 year of hospital Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, or Risk Management experience Schedule:Monday to Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PMNo Weekend , No HolidaySalary:$117,419 – $154,233Please email resume to:Joshua Albucker Senior Vice President NOOR Staffing Group646-492-5653jalbucker@noorstaffing.com
