Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based out either Arizona, Texas, Kentucky or Illinois. The Safety Manager will oversee and implement safety programs to ensure compliance with occupational health standards and environmental regulations. Responsibilities include conducting safety training, performing accident investigations, identifying potential hazards, and implementing preventive measures. The Safety Manager will also collaborate with teams across projects to promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring the organization's commitment to industrial safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of Occupational Health standards and practices
- Demonstrated experience in Safety Training and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) protocols
- Strong expertise in Accident Investigation and Industrial Safety procedures
- Ability to identify and mitigate workplace hazards effectively
- Proficiency in developing and implementing safety programs and protocols
- Strong communication skills to conduct training and coordinate with various teams
- Relevant certifications in safety management or EHS practices are preferred (e.g., OSHA, CSP, CHST)
- Experience in the energy or construction industries is a plus
