What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Engineering Leader – Automation & Plastics Manufacturing position at Noble Plastics?
Lead Production Engineering at Noble
Compensation: Full-time salaried role starting at $125,000.
Noble is powered by curious builders and modern automation. As the steward of our production engineering team, you’ll translate ideas into reliable, high-volume output across industries ranging from pet products to defense. You’ll report to the Operations Manager and set the cadence for delivery, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving, highly automated environment.
A Day in the Role
Begin with a stand-up: align Engineers and Technicians on milestones, unblock issues, and right-size resources. Transition from a robotics-enabled molding cell to a scope review with stakeholders in Operations, Sales, and Finance. In the afternoon, you might coach on risk management and feasibility, approve a tooling change for a molding machine, tighten project timelines, and close the day by safeguarding project data and updating the departmental budget.
What You’ll Own
Our engineering department develops, improves, and troubleshoots production processes, methods, tooling, and equipment. You’ll work with molds, molding machines, robotics, and supporting systems—partnering hand-in-hand with Operations, Sales, and Finance to meet company goals.
What You Bring
Turn concepts into production reality in a high-volume setting. Standardize where it counts, innovate where it matters, and deliver on schedule.
Work Authorization
Per requirements in our ITAR-regulated government contract, this position is restricted to U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, and refugees) due to the need to access controlled technology. Noble will not apply or manage the required export license.
