Core responsibilities
- Receive and ship materials; reconcile packing slips and POs; document in IQMS.
- Load/unload trucks using forklifts, hoists, hand trucks, and other devices.
- Install strapping, bracing, padding; bundle, wrap, and band with pallet wrapper, bander, and clincher.
- Tag/label containers for fast identification and location.
- Move materials between warehouse and multiple production areas per schedule and priorities.
- Stage materials/equipment to meet production needs; support the production floor when needed.
- Inspect inbound goods for damage or missing markings; verify part numbers.
- Maintain daily material movement logs and electronic records; perform periodic inventory counts.
- Coordinate pickups/deliveries; obtain shipping quotes and prepare compliant shipments.
- Cross-train with the blending technician to support mixture, purity, and color requirements.
Performance expectations
- Accountable control of inventory quantities and locations.
- Timely, accurate receiving and PO entries in IQMS.
- Well-prepared staging for on-time production starts.
- Safety-first, organized warehouse practices.
What you'll need
- Safe forklift operation; strong organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Moderate proficiency with MS Excel/Word/Outlook; familiarity with ERP/WMS (IQMS a plus).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Lift up to 50 lbs; stand/walk for an 8-hour manufacturing shift.
- Follow written and verbal instructions; read/write English clearly.
- Able to drive a company truck; reliable transportation.
- Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Hands-on experience in shipping/receiving, packaging, and manufacturing; current forklift license preferred.
