Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sanctuary Foreman Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects within our sanctuary development team. This pivotal role involves managing daily site operations, supervising construction crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction teams on sanctuary projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Coordinate project activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet deadlines and budget targets
- Oversee daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking using tools like Primavera P6 and Construction management software
- Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards; enforce safety protocols and conduct toolbox talks
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation; interpret technical drawings for team guidance
- Manage project documentation such as contracts, change orders, and quality control reports using Bluebeam or similar software
- Monitor project budgets and costs; assist in estimating efforts using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools
- Perform quality control inspections; ensure adherence to specifications through detailed site assessments and use of measurement tools like ohmmeters or schematics when needed
Skills
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction management principles
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools
- Proven supervising experience leading teams in complex projects within the construction industry
- Knowledge of contracts management and project scheduling techniques to keep projects on track
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for effective supervision
- Strong understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards; committed to maintaining a safe work environment
- Skilled in budgeting, construction estimating, and managing project costs effectively
- Familiarity with pipeline construction processes and heavy equipment operation when applicable
