General Description: The Overnight Weekend Crisis Line Advocate provides crisis line services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking as well as conducting intakes with resident and non-resident clients and assisting with the provision of services to these clients. This employee provides shelter coverage and assistance as needed within the general framework of Noah Project. Regularly scheduled hours are 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday evenings, some flexibility and holiday rotation may be required.
Classification: Non-exempt, Part Time
Essential Job Functions:
A. Receive crisis calls and provide immediate crisis intervention for all victims of domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault.
B. Perform Lethality Assessment Protocols in coordination with law enforcement for safety planning.
C. Complete intake and exit interviews and complete all required documentation on residents and non-residents clients.
D. Assist residents in settling into the shelter, and room and providing a tour.
E. Assist clients’ immediate needs and refer them to appropriate resource, or utilize Noah resources.
F. Control access to the facility by residents, non-residents, and visitors, oversee the security system, and follow all security procedures.
G. Complete documentation, data/statistical entry, and any other required paperwork on a timely basis to include maintaining client and administrative files.
H. Ensure residents are following shelter guidelines and responsibilities. Chores, quiet hours, etc.
I. Attend staff meetings and training as scheduled.
J. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary, including but not limited to; clerical duties, assisting with shelter program activities, and training.
Minimum Qualifications:
A. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course of study in social work or a related course of study preferred. Some college or associate's degree required.
B. Computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry experience.

B. Has knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures or is willing to be trained on those skills.
C. Possesses knowledge and proficiency in general office procedures.
D. Is willing to work in stressful conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
E. Knowledge of dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault.
F. Maintain professional and ethical boundaries with all clients.
G. Works well with minimal supervision.
Supervision: The Overnight Weekend Crisis Line Advocate will be supervised by the Shelter Coordinator
