We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Plant Controller to support financial operations at Autocam/NNinc. This role is a key partner to plant leadership, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, driving cost visibility, and supporting operational decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:
**
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior year
Partner with plant leadership to explain financial results and identify performance improvement opportunities
Lead plant month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Oversee inventory accounting, including physical counts, reconciliations, and investigation of variances
Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
Review general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Assist with year-end close, audit support, and compliance requirements
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and internal controls
Ensure adherence to company policies, Quality Management System (QMS), and Environmental Management System (EMS)

**Supervisory Responsibilities:
**
Lead, mentor, and develop plant accounting staff
Manage day-to-day activities of the accounting team, including workload prioritization and performance management
Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies
Provide coaching, training, and development to build technical and business acumen within the team
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of accounting personnel
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration
**Qualifications:
**
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3–7 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of financial statements and month-end close processes
Experience with inventory accounting and cost analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Office applications
ERP system experience preferred
