Day-to-day responsibilities
- Operate a range of equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Assist experienced machinists with troubleshooting and resolving machining challenges.
- Keep your work area clean and organized while following safety standards.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to elevate your skills and knowledge.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and timelines.
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED (technical machining coursework is a plus).
- Mechanical aptitude, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn.
- Basic familiarity with machining tools and processes is helpful but not required.
