What are the responsibilities and job description for the User Experience Designer position at NLB Services?
Basic Qualifications:
5 years' experience in a client-facing, UX Designer or Information Architect role
5 years' experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests needed
Bachelor's degree in Design / HCI / Related Field, or equivalent real-world experience
3 years' experience in one or more of the following: common design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, etc.), and collaboration tools (Abstract, Sharepoint, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating solid experience designing responsive web and mobile applications
Basic understanding of UX best practices across User Experience Design, Information Architecture, Content Strategy, User Interface Design
Familiarity with deliverables such as user research analysis, use cases and scenarios, flows, detailed designs, annotations, and design systems
The ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
Experience with activities such as user research, identifying user needs, developing design concepts, design thinking, and development support
Experience creating highly detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications
Ability to produce intuitive, user-centered designs across multiple channels and devices
Ability to partner closely with developers, QA and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback and technical constraints
Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
Strong client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
