Role Summary
As a Technical Support Technician II, you will perform both technical and administrative responsibilities supporting day to day operations and ensuring service excellence.
Core Responsibilities
π Customer Support β’ Serve as the primary point of contact via phone, email, and other communication channels
β’ Respond to incidents in compliance with service level agreements
β’ Manage sensitive customer interactions with transparency and professionalism
βοΈ Incident Management β’ Escalate incidents that cannot be resolved within defined timelines
β’ Track and drive issues through full resolution and restoration of service
β’ Manage the end to end incident lifecycle including root cause identification
π Documentation & Knowledge Management β’ Accurately document triage details and resolution steps
β’ Utilize existing knowledge articles to resolve known issues
β’ Create new knowledge articles for undocumented solutions
π Operational Excellence β’ Ensure support metrics and performance expectations are consistently met
β’ Maintain security and accuracy of operational data
β’ Stay current on systems, tools, and applications
π€ Collaboration β’ Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
β’ Collaborate across cross functional teams
β’ Actively participate in training and development
π Continuous Improvement β’ Identify opportunities to improve workflows and support processes
β’ Champion adoption of next generation technologies including AI
β’ Maintain compliance with all corporate security, quality, and operational policies
Required Knowledge and Skills
π Technical Expertise β’ Experience in a remote technical support environment
β’ Strong networking knowledge including protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting
β’ Familiarity with WAN, LAN, routers, and firewalls
β’ Knowledge of VoIP and IP telephony
β’ RF trunking and communication network knowledge
π» Systems & Tools β’ Working knowledge of Windows and Office or equivalent
β’ Familiarity with mobile radio technologies
β’ Understanding of information security best practices
