Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy Orthopedics practice. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will provide clinical support to physicians and nursing staff while delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, lab testing, and other clinical procedures within scope of certification.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies.
- Support patients during rooming, examinations, and procedures.
- Provide patient instructions as directed by physicians.
- Handle patient phone calls and communicate follow-up information appropriately.
- Maintain and update medical records, referrals, lab slips, and other documentation.
- Assist with nursing procedures and other clinical duties as assigned.
- Order and maintain adequate medical and office supplies.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Completion of at least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or equivalent training.
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Active BLS Certification (AHA) required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support clinic operations.
Salary : $22
