What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Net Patient Revenue Analyst position at NLB Services?
- Compile complex reimbursement data to support management decision making and internal/external reporting for assigned subsidiaries.
- Assist in coordinating reimbursement functions related to strategic financial planning.
- Ensure the integrity of net revenue; note this is not a revenue cycle position.
- Prepare and review schedules for Medicare, Medicaid cost reports, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Analyze third-party cost report changes from prior years and investigate differences.
- Prepare monthly contractual models, analyze contractual allowances, and recommend updates to assumptions or methodology.
- Maintain adequate reserve position through monthly reserve analysis and report any changes.
- Provide complex projections and analytical support for fiscal year budgeted net revenue preparation.
- Research third-party regulations and changes, summarize financial impact, and estimate effects on subsidiaries.
- Coordinate data collection and schedule preparation for third-party financial audits, settlements, and cash reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum three years of progressively responsible reimbursement or finance experience with reimbursement duties (required).
- Experience in Net Revenue and/or Cost Reporting (required).
- Experience in Home Health and/or Physician Group settings (preferred).
- Kodiak RCA (formerly Crowe) experience (preferred).
- MBA or CPA credential (preferred).
- Progressive management experience (preferred)
Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
