Job Description :-
Client is seeking an Architect III to work in the Downers Grove, IL Design Center. The ideal candidate will lead complex architectural projects and evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural techniques to deliver projects according to client specifications.
Responsibilities:-
Perform a variety of routine architectural assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for assigned phases of a project.
Participate in analyses required to formulate and determine design criteria for buildings, structures, systems, materials and components.
Assist in the preparation of architectural, engineering and construction drawings, specifications, bills of material, building code reviews and cost estimates.
Participate in studies of construction techniques and economic feasibility studies, such as the provision of “value engineering”.
Review client requests for architectural change orders and recommend action to supervisor. Assess vendor submittals and field information requests.
Effectively interfacing with individuals or groups representing various backgrounds, disciplines and levels of experience.
Develop estimates and schedules, progress reports, including workforce forecasts.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience and knowledge of Architecture. Master’s degree in architecture is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of Architectural work experience in similar industry.
Registered as a Licensed Architect.
Advanced experience in all phases and aspects of a project including reviewing construction documentation.
Experience with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems.
Reasonable artistic skills with the capability of transferring ideas and impressions to proposals, studies, and ultimately, to working drawings.
Proficiency with CADD systems, and other architectural software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must possess permanent authorization to work in the USA without the need of sponsorship now or in the future.
Salary : $40 - $51
