We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Client Support Technician for one of our esteemed clients.
Role: Client Support Technician
Location: Jackson, MS
Duration: Very Long Term
Position Description :
- Provides a full range of on-site and remote end-user support for the MDAH network.
- Repair desktop PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and office applications.
- Respond to help desk requests via phone, chat, or in person.
- Log, track, and resolve issues using ticketing systems.
- Set up new workstations and manage onboarding or offboarding tasks, including user account creation and permission setups.
- Maintain inventory records for hardware, software licenses, and IT supplies.
- Escalate complex or network-wide issues to senior system or network administrators.
Required Skills/Experience
- Typically requires a high school diploma, vocational training, or an Associate s/bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant IT support or service desk experience.
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Azure/Active Directory, basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and endpoint security tools.
- Strong communication, patience, customer service mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
Must-have skills/experience: CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , or Microsoft credentials are preferred.
