Job Summary
NJR Group is seeking an experienced Asphalt Milling Foreman to lead and oversee asphalt milling operations on DOT highway contracts. This role involves managing crews, coordinating daily activities, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of asphalt milling processes.
Duties
- Supervise and manage asphalt milling crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate daily work schedules, equipment deployment, and material deliveries to optimize productivity.
- Monitor construction safety practices in compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and project specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising asphalt milling
- Extensive knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols.
- Strong crew management skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
