Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Printing Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color management, quality control processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate flexographic printing presses to ensure optimal performance and high-quality output.
- Monitor the printing process to maintain consistent quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records, including quantities, materials used, and any discrepancies.
- Assist in fabricating printing plates and preparing inks according to job specifications.
- Collaborate with the graphic design team to understand layout designs and color requirements.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the printing process to identify and resolve issues.
- Operate tools such as forklifts for material handling and movement within the production area.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and color management techniques.
- Experience with CNC machining is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience operating tools such as forklifts for material handling is preferred.
