Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new FTL/LTL domestic trucking customers.
- Client Growth: Strengthen and expand relationships with existing customers to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute Sales Action Plans, including prospecting targets, revenue goals, and pipeline management.
- Quoting & Proposals: Create competitive and compelling pricing solutions using company’s tools and systems.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a clean, updated sales pipeline with clear next steps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, managers, and operations to align strategies and exceed targets.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals for both new and existing business.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in training to master industry trends, service offerings, and sales techniques.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience in FTL/LTL domestic trucking (required).
- Proven track record in business development and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation & communication skills – ability to engage decision-makers (CEOs, executives, logistics managers).
- Self-motivated & organized – thrives with autonomy while collaborating in a team environment.
- Tech-savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM tools.
- Multilingual? A plus (but not required).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
