Nishida Services is seeking an experienced, passionate Housekeeping Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in launching a premier new facility in Downtown Indianapolis.
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46225
Job Title: Site Manager, Housekeeping Services
Shift: Must be flexible to rotate days and holidays, 10:30pm - 7:00am
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually, biweekly pay
Job Description:
- Oversee overnight operations: manage cleanliness and quality standards in public spaces, restrooms, offices, food preparation, and meeting areas.
- Conduct team meetings to review nightly team goals
- Ensure public readiness: completion of daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping and floor cleaning tasks
- Conduct inspections: oversee and perform public and back-of-house area inspections to maintain high-quality standards and compliance
- Manage rotating employee schedules and track employee payroll
- Support, inspire and develop the team: support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and create a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
- Management experience in janitorial/related services
- Capable of solving problems with flexibility and insight
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of people
- Professionalism and communication skills
- Organized and self-motivated
- Criminal history check
