Duties

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
• Sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Handle cleaning tasks for public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Use chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe workspace.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards in accordance with hotel emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues promptly to management.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with strong janitorial skills.
• Expertise in floor care techniques including floor cleaning and chemical handling for various surfaces.
• Proficiency with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
