Job Title: Contractor- MarTech Engineer
Location: Local candidates in Memphis, TN will receive preference. If no local candidates, the manager will review remote options.
Schedule: M-F 9-5PM
Contract Length: 6 Months Contract
- Core Technical Expertise
- 6 years in digital analytics, tag management, or MarTech engineering.
- Hands-on with Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager (client-side & server-side).
- Strong experience implementing and validating Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics (GA4).
- Skilled in data layer design, event tracking frameworks, and measurement strategies.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS for custom tag and pixel implementations.
- Business Analysis & Requirements
- Experienced in requirements gathering, documentation (BRDs/TRDs), and backlog management.
- Ability to translate business KPIs and tracking needs into technical specifications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to bridge Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
- QA & Governance
- Skilled in debugging tools (network calls, browser dev tools) for validation.
- Knowledge of data governance standards, privacy, and consent compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
- Experience defining naming conventions, documentation, and change management processes.
- Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to Google Marketing Platform (CM360, DV360, Google Ads).
- Familiarity with Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Adobe Target.
- Experience with audience activation platforms (LiveRamp, CDPs).
- Agile delivery experience (story refinement, sprint planning, UAT support).
