Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take beverage and food orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry, sales transactions, and processing cash or card payments accurately
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with customers, managing their needs promptly, and fostering positive guest relations

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable; strong cash handling skills required
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing tabs
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen support is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Must be 21 years or older
