Job Summary:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting within the organization. This role operates as a key business partner to the General Manager and plays a critical leadership role in achieving financial performance targets. The Controller ensures effective internal controls, manages reporting requirements, and drives continuous process improvements. Additionally, the role includes oversight of IT operations at the local level.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises all employees within the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as an active member of the site leadership team, providing financial and operational insights to achieve performance goals.
- Lead the execution of the annual operating plan and provide guidance to business leaders.
- Drive continuous efficiency improvements within the finance department, recommending changes to standard practices or procedures.
- Provide financial and analytical support to Capital project managers and other business leaders.
- Oversee the accurate and efficient monthly/quarterly closing of financial statements.
- Supervise the plant's Physical Inventory process.
- Review and monitor capital expenditures, fixed assets, inventories, payables, and receivables.
- Analyze cost centers and work with department managers to improve cost performance.
- Utilize financial analysis to assess market trends and account profitability in collaboration with the Strategic Pricing Manager.
- Provide leadership, direction, and development opportunities for direct reports.
- Conduct operations reviews and analyses to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and productivity.
- Manage financial, tax, and capital reporting requirements, including analysis and submission of related reports.
- Oversee all forecasting requirements, including Profit and Loss statements, balance sheets, and capital planning.
- Lead the finance department with a focus on delivering superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and manage reserve requirements on a monthly basis.
- Develop, communicate, and audit all division financial policies and procedures.
- Lead the team in meeting financial objectives and targets.

- Financial accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of accounting or related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- CPA or MBA.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
