Painters JOB SUMMARY Painting of Heavy Equipment, organize and keep area
Clean While Working In a Safe Environment. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Painting of heavy equipment tank kits and chassis
Applies primer using brush, roller, spray for the purpose of completing
required body work
Operates a variety of hand and power tools: cutting torch, hammers,
wrenches, sander, spray guns
Performs repair work on vehicle bodies, repainting front-end components,
body components, doors, and frame under body
Sanding repaired body surfaces, filling holes, dents and seams
Prepares paint by blending and mixing for the purpose of matching colors
for application to vehicle bodies
Prepares vehicle body surfaces to receive primer and paint by masking
and taping off for the purpose of completing required bodywork
Must follow all safety rules
Must be fit to wear a respirator
Assist with all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used
In Paint. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral or
diagram
Ability to read a tape measure and perform simple shop math, convert
decimals to fractional equivalents
Must be able to work closely with other team members to meet company
goals
