HIRING: Program Manager / Production Control
Location: North Richland Hills, TX
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 Base Bonus Benefits
We are hiring a Program Manager / Production Control professional with experience in structural steel fabrication, manufacturing, or production operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of production planning, scheduling, material flow, shop priorities, and production performance while working with modern fabrication technology and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production schedules and ensure projects stay on track for on-time delivery.
- Oversee production control, material flow, inventory tracking, job status, and shop priorities.
- Use Tekla PowerFab to manage production workflows and provide real-time production visibility.
- Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, detailing, project management, and shop teams.
- Manage cut lists, nesting data, production reports, and production priorities.
- Support CNC and automated plasma cutting operations and programming.
- Use ProNest to optimize material utilization and reduce waste.
- Review AutoCAD drawings and fabrication details.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives, including robotic welding and automated fabrication.
Requirements
- 2 years of Tekla PowerFab experience required.
- Experience with Prodevco plasma cutting systems required.
- ProNest experience required.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and fabrication drawings.
- Experience with production control, scheduling, program management, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of material flow, BOMs, inventory, and shop floor operations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Structural steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing experience.
- Experience with robotic welding or automated fabrication equipment.
- ERP or MRP experience.
- Continuous improvement experience.
