Position Overview
The Nicholas Family of Companies is a creative and results-driven Social Commerce Coordinator to manage and grow our retail brand Gold Oak’s digital presence and online sales channels. This role sits at the intersection of social media, e-commerce, and in-store marketing, responsible for creating engaging content, optimizing our online storefront, and driving both digital revenue and foot traffic.
The ideal candidate is equal parts content creator, marketer, and merchandiser, with a strong understanding of how social platforms influence purchasing behavior and how to convert engagement into sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) to promote products, seasonal campaigns, and in-store experiences
- Jump start email marketing campaigns and continuously refine for optimized engagement
- Create compelling visual and written content including product features, promotions, lifestyle imagery, and short-form video
- Monitor social media channels, engage with customers, and respond to inquiries in a timely and brand-aligned manner
- Curate user-generated content and influencer collaborations to enhance brand visibility and credibility
- Manage and update the e-commerce platform, including product listings, descriptions, pricing, and merchandising
- Optimize the online shopping experience to increase conversion rates and overall sales performance
- Plan and manage digital and social advertising campaigns to drive online purchases and in-store visits
- Collaborate with store staff and leadership to align promotions, product launches, and inventory with marketing efforts
- Support and grow the corporate gifting program through targeted outreach, curated offerings, and promotional campaigns
- Analyze performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion, sales) and adjust strategies accordingly
- Maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive customer experience online and in-store
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field(or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, e-commerce, or retail marketing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Experience managing e-commerce platforms; specifically Shopify
- Familiarity with digital advertising tools (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.)
- Basic graphic design and content creation skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools)
- Strong written communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays aligned with event schedules; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
