SUNY Niagara is seeking a knowledgeable and student-focused Mathematics Instructor to join our Business & STEM Division in a full-time, ten-month, tenure-track position. This role plays a critical role in delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to our diverse student body.The Mathematics Instructor will teach a variety of associate degree-level mathematics courses in both face-to-face and online modalities. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student success, engagement, and instructional excellence.Key Responsibilities:Teach 18 contact hours per semester (lab and/or lecture) or 15 credits of lecture-only courses in mathematics.Deliver high-quality instruction in remedial, foundational, introductory statistics, and other mathematics courses during the day or evening.Assess and support student learning outcomes to promote academic success.Provide academic advisement and mentorship to students.Participate in curriculum development and the continuous improvement of mathematics courses.The start date of this position will be late August for the beginning of the Fall 2025 semester. The successful candidate will only be required to work 162 days per academic year (August – May), and will be provided with a winter break from mid-December to early January, a Spring Break for one week in mid-March, and will work until the Spring semester ends in Mid-May (not required to work in June, July, and most of August).SUNY Niagara provides phenomenal benefits.
