SUNY Niagara has an immediate need for part-time Nursing Instructors to teach in clinical areas of fundamentals (nursing home) 6.5 hours per week, Ortho/Neuro 12.5 hours per week, Pediatrics 12.5 hours per week lower level Maternity and lower level Medical Surgical in a Registered Nurse Associate Degree Program. The clinical assignments will be held once per week either with a 6 hour lab or a 12 hour lab.NUR 211 (12.5 hour clinical day)6am-6:30pmHospital settingMonday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or SundayContent area is: Ortho/NeuroNUR 111 (6.5 hour clinical day)7am-1:30pm or 2pm-8:30pmLTC settingMonday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or SundayThis is for our freshman students centered on basic nursingClinical timeframe for the Fall 2025 semester is September 2nd - December 20th.Remuneration for this position will be: $860 per lab hour. This position is an exempt position and the compensation earned for the Fall 2025 semester would be $5,160 for a 6 hour clinical rotation or $10,320 for a 12 hour clinical rotation.Paid orientation to teaching, responsibilities will be provided. Individuals with current clinical proficiency and/or teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Selected candidates may apply when applicable for a possible scholarship to earn a Master's of Science in Nursing Education.
