Job Title: Lumber Estimator / Framing Estimator
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lumber Estimator / Framing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience performing lumber and hardware takeoffs and a solid understanding of the rough framing industry. This is an in-person position; remote work is not available.
This position offers a strong opportunity for career advancement, with the potential to grow into a Chief Estimator role within 2–3 years, accompanied by increased responsibility and higher compensation based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate lumber and hardware takeoffs
- Use computer-based takeoff software
- Communicate with lumber suppliers and vendors
- Handle and respond to RFIs
- Prepare and manage Excel spreadsheets related to estimates
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in lumber/framing estimating
- Strong knowledge of rough framing
- Proficient with takeoff software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience in the construction or framing industry is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
