The Kitchen Assistant supports daily food service operations for Arlington School and Cornerstone for the Fall 2026/2027 school year. They would be responsible for helping to provide nutritious meals to students in a structured, trauma-informed educational environment. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while contributing to a positive, supportive atmosphere for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of daily meals in accordance with program schedules
- Follow meal plans, portion guidelines, and any dietary accommodations for students
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen and food service areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Properly store, label, and rotate food items in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking food and kitchen supplies
- Support kitchen organization and ensure readiness for daily operations
- Follow all state health, safety, and licensing requirements

This full-time position has a pay range of $18.00 to $22.00 p/hour based on experience and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
