What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Residential Staff - DBT Program position at NFI Vermont, Inc.?
The NFI DBT House in Vernon, VT is seeking a full-time counselor to work in our residential program that has been recognized for positive outcomes over the last 18 years in the lives of adolescent females who have experienced trauma, have complex behavioral challenges and who tend to struggle in their relationships. Responsibilities include supervising the daily activities of our clients; providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling; and facilitating client improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills, and behavior. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, work well on a team, primarily work evening hours and weekends, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Generous benefits package available if working full-time at 30 hours per week. Bachelor’s degree and previous experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral challenges preferred. Pay range $20.50-$22/hour, based on experience, with a $2.00 shift differential for any weekend hours worked.
