Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

• Partner closely with underwriting and distribution teams to support data-driven decision making.

• Generate monthly reports and manage a variety of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all systems and outputs.

• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights to support strategic initiatives.

• Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand advanced analytical needs.

• Develop compelling business cases to support process improvements and organizational change.

• Document processes, methodologies, and best practices to promote consistency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field required.

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in analytics or business intelligence roles.

• Insurance industry experience strongly preferred, but not required.

• Expert-level skills in Excel, including pivot tables and data manipulation.

• Proficient in SQL and data mining techniques; strong report-building experience.

• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a major plus.

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.

• Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

• Deep understanding of how data informs and enhances core business functions.

• Ability to investigate data at the source and understand its origin, structure, and business value.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently.

• Strong problem-solver with a strategic mindset and collaborative approach.

• Comfortable working in a distributed or remote team environment.
