In this role, you will scour all available avenues to fill our open IT positions with the best-qualified candidates. Your responsibilities will include defining hiring criteria, researching possible candidates on LinkedIn and other social media sites, and reaching out to potential hires with information about the positions. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator with a background in human resources and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all stages of the hiring process and recruiting strategyCreate and update technical job descriptions, requirements, and objectivesResearch and source potential hires on platforms such as Stack Overflow and GithubScreen resumes for specialized IT skills and qualificationsConduct in-person, video, and phone interviews using a variety of interview methodsCommunicate with IT management to understand department goals and staffing needsReach out to candidates via phone and email and follow up with regular communicationAttend tech-focused conferences, job fairs, and networking events QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fieldPrevious experience as a Technical Recruiter or related positionFamiliarity with multiple interview types (structured, competency-based, stress etc)Experience conducting interviews and background checksExperience with sourcing tools and techniquesKnowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databasesTechnical knowledge sufficient to understand and explain IT job requirementsStrong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skillsFamiliarity with labor laws and legislationExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects

Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
