Sales Development Representative (SDR) – IT Consulting Services

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Schaumburg office. The ideal candidate will have prior experience generating leads and engaging prospects in the IT consulting industry. This role is pivotal in driving the early stages of the sales cycle by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and nurturing prospects to set up successful sales conversations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct research to identify potential clients and initiate outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess their needs and align them with NextRow Digital’s services.
  • Pipeline Building: Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing teams to develop strategies for targeting high-value prospects.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and lead statuses in CRM systems.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • KPI Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in IT consulting services.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation platforms.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of IT consulting services, digital transformation, and technology solutions is a plus.
  • Driven & Resilient: Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to handle rejection professionally.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
