Requirements
- 5 years of customs brokerage entry writing experience
- Extensive hands-on FTZ experience (admissions, withdrawals, weekly entries)
- Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, valuation, and trade compliance
- Experience preparing and filing import/export entries in ACE environments
- Ability to independently manage high-volume entries with accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and submit import/export customs entries accurately and on time
- Manage FTZ admissions, withdrawals, weekly entries, and compliance reporting
- Classify products, determine duties, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Serve as the FTZ subject matter expert for clients and internal teams
- Support audits, recordkeeping, and compliance initiatives
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, government agencies, and customers to resolve clearance issues
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively address compliance risks
- Identify duty savings opportunities and suggest process improvements
