Hiring for Sr. Technical Program Manager

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid or 100% Remote in surrounding states)

Travel: Occasional travel to Houston office for meetings

Overview:

The Sr. Technical Program Manager will join the Data & Digital team, leading digital transformation initiatives and managing complex, cross-functional programs focused on data, cloud, and enterprise systems. This role requires a proven leader with strong program management expertise, technical depth, and experience driving system migrations and cloud-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop standards and best practices for the Technical Program Management (TPM) function.
• Manage large-scale programs — defining roadmaps, plans, timelines, budgets, and OKRs.
• Partner across Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Data teams to ensure delivery of program outcomes.
• Define program charters, manage risk and issue resolution, and ensure delivery against key milestones.
• Participate in vendor management, including RFPs, SOWs, and performance evaluations.
• Drive agile transformation, leveraging Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
• Establish effective communication and alignment with executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• 8 years in software development, technical program management, or implementation.
• 3 years managing complex, transformational programs.
• Proven experience with data engineering, AI/ML, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and system migrations.
• Strong leadership experience — ideally managing TPM teams or PMO functions.
• Expertise in agile and waterfall delivery, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to drive decision-making, resolve cross-team dependencies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Certifications: Agile/Scrum, AWS, or Azure Cloud.
• Experience defining and scaling TPM best practices in enterprise environments.
