Hiring for Sr. Technical Program Manager
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid or 100% Remote in surrounding states)
Travel: Occasional travel to Houston office for meetings
Overview:
The Sr. Technical Program Manager will join the Data & Digital team, leading digital transformation initiatives and managing complex, cross-functional programs focused on data, cloud, and enterprise systems. This role requires a proven leader with strong program management expertise, technical depth, and experience driving system migrations and cloud-based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop standards and best practices for the Technical Program Management (TPM) function.
- Manage large-scale programs — defining roadmaps, plans, timelines, budgets, and OKRs.
- Partner across Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Data teams to ensure delivery of program outcomes.
- Define program charters, manage risk and issue resolution, and ensure delivery against key milestones.
- Participate in vendor management, including RFPs, SOWs, and performance evaluations.
- Drive agile transformation, leveraging Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
- Establish effective communication and alignment with executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 8 years in software development, technical program management, or implementation.
- 3 years managing complex, transformational programs.
- Proven experience with data engineering, AI/ML, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and system migrations.
- Strong leadership experience — ideally managing TPM teams or PMO functions.
- Expertise in agile and waterfall delivery, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to drive decision-making, resolve cross-team dependencies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- Certifications: Agile/Scrum, AWS, or Azure Cloud.
- Experience defining and scaling TPM best practices in enterprise environments.
