We are looking for an experienced RAN Design & Optimization Engineer with strong expertise in LTE/5G network planning, tuning, and performance optimization. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive large-scale network improvements across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead RAN design, planning, and optimization activities for LTE and 5G networks
• Perform network performance analysis (Accessibility, Retainability, Handover success, KPIs)
• Conduct drive test data analysis and recommend parameter tuning
• Support feature activation, traffic analysis, and network improvements
• Use tools like Atoll, Planet EV, TEMS, Actix for planning and optimization
• Perform event analysis and troubleshooting for complex network issues
• Optimize handover performance, capacity, and coverage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders
• Lead technical execution across large-scale projects

Must-Have Skills

• 10 years of experience in RAN design, optimization, or tuning
• Strong expertise in 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies
• Experience with:
• Massive MIMO, mmWave, CBRS, IoT, LAA
• Layer 3 messaging (LTE/5G)
• IRAT procedures and network behavior
• Hands-on with planning tools: Atoll, Planet EV, ACP
• Strong experience with optimization tools: TEMS, Actix, Agilent, R&S
• Deep understanding of:
• Link budget
• Monte Carlo analysis
• KPI optimization
• Traffic and capacity analysis
• Experience leading large-scale projects and technical teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
