Payroll Tax Analyst responsible for managing global payroll tax controls, compliance, reporting, and tax operations in a high-volume enterprise environment.
Key focus:
- Bi-weekly executive payroll tax reporting (Mon–Wed prep/validation)
- Weekly tax operations reporting (Thursday execution)
- Tax credits return-to-cash reconciliation
- Maintaining payroll tax desktop procedures (DTPs)
- Supporting M&A tax integration and historical data retention
- Cross-functional coordination with payroll, tax agencies, and internal teams
- Coverage during PTO / operational continuity support
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years equivalent experience
- 3 years payroll tax experience (multi-state required)
- Experience in large enterprise/system-driven payroll tax environments
- Strong Excel Google Workspace skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume reporting cycles
- Strong communication cross-functional coordination
Preferred
- CPP or FPC certification
- Experience with Workday / ADP / PeopleSoft HCM
- M&A payroll/tax integration exposure
- Data analysis AI tools exposure
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
