4G/5G Core Network Support Engineer

Hiring for Customer Support Engineer / CORE - Memphis TN(Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Engineer – Core Networks to support a customer in Memphis, TN. This is a full-time onsite role supporting critical 4G/5G core network operations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer support activities.

• Must be available to work onsite in Memphis, TN.

Required Technical Experience

Core Network Technologies

• Hands-on experience operating, managing, and supporting core network nodes:
• EPC
• IMS
• 5G Core (5GC)

4G/5G Packet Core Operations

Strong operational and troubleshooting experience with:

• MME
• SPGW
• AMF
• SMF
• UPF
• NRF

Subscriber Data & Policy Management

Experience supporting:

• PCRF
• HSS
• PCF
• UDM
• AUSF
• UDR

IMS / Voice Core

Operational experience with:

• CSCF
• TAS
• SBC
• MRF

Cloud-Native & CNF Technologies

• Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting
• Containerized Network Functions (CNFs)
• CNF lifecycle management
• Integration and troubleshooting of 4G/5G core network interfaces and protocols

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for Nokia core network elements.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Nokia Care.
• Support network migrations, upgrades, and operational activities.
• Prepare and review MOPs (Methods of Procedure).
• Participate in ORT and ATP activities.
• Generate incident reports and KPI reports.
• Ensure operational stability and service continuity across core network platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Nokia CMM and CMG nodes.
• Experience with Nokia APC platforms (PCRF, HSS, PCF, UDM, AUSF, UDR).
• Experience with Nokia EVC.
• Experience operating Nokia CMU platform (CNF deployment mode) via CLI and GUI.
