NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a proactive and professional Operations Support Specialist to support day-to-day operations and administration for an Army customer. Candidates must possess demonstrated experience in operations support for an Army, DoD, or Government customer(s).ResponsibilitiesManage daily operationsCoordinate and execute personnel actions, and provide administrative support including Lean Six Sigma (L6S) effortsAssist with internal organization standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processesManage customer survey feedback including reviewing survey methodology, questionnaires, interview/focus group guides, and analysis methodologyReceive and analyze incoming requirements and taskers, routing actions accordingly, and ensure completion and timeliness of responses.Ensure leadership awarenessTrack and facilitate joint efforts between government and contractor service providersInteract with senior level government officials and other leadership across agenciesCoordinate and organize high level, high visibility events and visits, to include international visitorsQualificationsBachelor's Degree required; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degreeMinimum of 5 years of demonstrated, relevant experienceHighly proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient with SharePoint, user and basic administrative skillsStrong oral and written communication and organizational skillsProcess improvement experience and/or understanding is requiredHigh degree of attention to detail, flexibility, and responsive to changing requirements and prioritiesSelf-motivated, possess sound planning and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionMust have a secret DoD clearanceDesired ExperienceExperience with and working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma. Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
