Computer Systems Analyst (Secret Clearance Required)

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking an experienced Computer Systems Analyst to evaluate, design, and implement computer systems that meet organizational and customer requirements. This role serves as a bridge between business users and technical teams, translating user needs into system requirements, analyzing solution alternatives, and ensuring successful implementation and functionality of information systems.Key ResponsibilitiesElicit, analyze, and document system and business requirements based on user input and operational needsEvaluate existing systems and propose enhancements or alternative solutions to improve efficiency and effectivenessDevelop detailed technical and functional documentation, including system specifications and process flowsCollaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the system development life cycleTest development and production software to ensure correct functionality, performance, and compliance with requirementsCoordinate and support the implementation of computer systems to meet customer and business requirementsAssist with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and post-implementation supportEnsure systems align with organizational standards, security policies, and best practicesRequired QualifcationsFour-year degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a related Information Technology (IT) role for Mid-level consideration; Minimum of seven (7) years of experience for Senior-level considerationProven experience developing system requirements based on user inputExperience analyzing business requirements and evaluating technical and functional alternativesExperience developing and maintaining technical and functional documentationExperience testing development and production software for correct functionalityExperience implementing computer systems to meet customer requirementsActive DoD Secret security clearance or higherNextGen Federal Systems is an innovative technology and professional services provider specializing in advanced software solutions and comprehensive mission and business support services.
