We’re hiring a Director of Marketing to lead the campaigns and programs that drive in-store velocity, household penetration, and retail awareness for both GoodBelly and Cheribundi.
This role owns the intersection of brand, shopper, and retail execution. You’ll lead creative, agency partners, media strategy for retail-driving campaigns, and all shopper activation across key customers. You’ll partner closely with Sales to align quarterly retailer priorities and turn them into smart, high-impact marketing plans.

You’ll lead creative, agency partners, media strategy for retail-driving campaigns, and all shopper activation across key customers. What You’ll Own
Retail-Driving Campaigns
- Build and run integrated campaigns that drive consumers into retail and accelerate velocity.
- Own messaging and creative direction for all retailfacing work, from briefs to final assets.
- Lead agency partners across creative, media, and shopper to deliver highquality output.
- Develop strong performance readouts with clear insights and nextstep recommendations.
- Own shopper activation across priority accounts
- Develop quarterly activation plans tied to retailer priorities, resets, and promo windows.
- Manage budgets and optimize ROI across campaigns
- Create repeatable playbooks for future campaigns.
- Lead creative development for all retail activations: messaging, positioning within campaigns, content needs, asset production.
- Raise the bar on quality, consistency, and retailer relevance.
- Build a testing framework to improve creative effectiveness over time.
- Manage a tight quarterly rhythm with Sales to align activation by retailer and by quarter.
- Build activation calendars tied to retailer priorities and distribution goals.
- Serve as the strategic marketing partner in customer meetings when needed.
- Ensure crossfunctional clarity around campaigns, timing, and expected outcomes.
- 710 years in CPG brand marketing, shopper marketing, or retail activation.
- Demonstrated experience running campaigns that lift retail velocity.
- Strong creative instincts able to write sharp briefs and guide partners toward better work.
- Fluency in crosschannel activation, including social, OOH, influencer, and instore.
- Strong analytical skills: able to interpret velocity data, build readouts, and tie results to business impact.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, ideally attending or supporting key retailer meetings.
- Exceptional team leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic storytelling skills
- Comfort in a lean environment with real ownership and limited layers.
