Senior Portfolio Administrator

A Financial Services Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced operations professional to join their team as the Senior Portfolio Administrator, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).

Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations of cash balances, investment positions, accrued interest, asset level data, and par balances across internal systems, custodians, and third-party administrators.
• Oversee the processing of loan-related corporate actions, amendments, restructurings, and other facility events.
• Ensure interest, principal, and other cash activity is accurately recorded and reflected within portfolio accounting systems.
• Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies with custodians, administrators, agent banks, brokers, and other counterparties.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
• Assist with the development and implementation of technology-driven solutions to enhance reporting, monitoring, and data management capabilities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, process improvement efforts, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4 years of experience supporting CLOs, syndicated loans, private credit, fixed income products, or related investment operations functions within an asset management firm, fund administrator, or professional services environment.
• Strong ability to review and interpret credit agreements, amendments, and other transaction-related documentation.
• Experience with systems such as ClearPar, Geneva, WSO Administrator, WSO Utility, Allvue (Everest), FinDox, LendAmend, DTCC ALERT, CTM, or comparable platforms is preferred.
• Exposure to private credit strategies is advantageous but not required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
