An Investment Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team as a Finance Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Support all ongoing financial reporting, including valuations and month- and quarter-end close activities.
- Perform position, cash, and transaction reconciliations across a range of credit asset classes, including public and private credit, ABS and other structured products, mortgages (residential and commercial), derivatives, and real estate.
- Handle private fund accounting for warehouse vehicles.
- Track and report management company and client expense submissions.
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and FP&A processes.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of public accounting experience preferred; exposure to insurance a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting or portfolio management systems preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with fund accounting, financial statement preparation, and audit support.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
